TPI gets new rector
Today marks the end of the tenure of the tenure of the transition rector Dr. Gbola Adesina, who was appointed by the Governing Council after the takover from the Catholic, and the dawn of a new one Dr J.O Bifarin.
Dr. Gbola, who had done the impossibe, by getting three more courses accredited and increasing the students enrolment finally bows out of office for another giant, in the person of Dr. Bifarin, a one time Ag. Provost of Federal College of Agriculture, Akure.

Villanova changes to The Polytechnic Imesi (TPI) and appoints Gbola as her Rector
Following the handing over today, the Board of Trustee of The Poly Imesi Ile, annouced the change of name from Villanova Polytechnic Imesi Ile to The Polytechnic Imesi Ile, to reflect the change in ownership and formalized the appointment of Dr 'Gbola ADESINA and the Rector and Mr Sunday J.B. Ajayi as the Registrar
